Pedestrian View Of Los Angeles

This blog focuses on rail lines in LA country that exist, are under construction or under consideration. The Californian high-speed rail project and southern CA to Vegas project will also be covered. Since most of the relevant developments in the news, rail websites and blogosphere take place on weekdays, this blog will be updated primarily Monday through Friday and occasionally on the weekends. Your comments, criticism and suggestions are encouraged. Miscellaneous stuff will also appear here.

Super Bowl Sunday at Venice Beach

This was the last shot of the day in Venice. I am new to digital photography. Nighttime and indoors are
a lot harder; film was easier. Any suggestions?

In all the years of going to Venice beach, I have never seen it this empty or windy.

This was at the end of the day at Venice Beach; it was cold. This bird found shelter from the wind here.

Various photos of Montery Park, CA on and around Atlantic Blvc.

The bilingual nature of the area is reflected in the bilingual signs found for the most mundane activities such as entering a motel.

This part of Altantic Blvd was developed in 1997.

The market where friends and I shopped.

Inside the market; typical row.
